My Experience
I have been creating pet portraits for over 20 years. My artistic pursuits started with oil painting lessons from a neighbor at age 8. My college major was graphic design and I began doing portraits of horses then. Growing up in Northern Ohio horses were my world and my family showed Quarter Horses. I now live in Florida with a very sweet and spoiled Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Gracie. I work in several mediums but believe that oil paint is the best for animal portraits; it gives the greatest depth of field and most realistic hair color.
How The Portrait Process Works
I work from your photos. You can email, text or mail them to me. I will send you images of the work in progress for your approval. A deposit of 1/2 down is due to start your portrait. The balance is due after you have approved the final image before your portrait ships. Portraits will take from 4-8 weeks to complete.
